The staffing strategy is an interactive web tool that helps users find where they are in their staffing lifecycle. Hiring managers pick the stage they are in to then find solutions to their problems. Below illustrates the creative process for this product:
In order to conceptualize the flow of the Staffing Strategy tool, we had to understand how it would be used. The goal is to let users pick the area they are struggling with, then in a choose-your-own-adventure style, lead users to decide whether they need “how-to” guides, tools, help from a staffing firm, and if so, whether Randstad is the right staffing firm for them.
Once we understood the concept, we researched how other choose-your-adventure tools have successfully worked and took those learnings to make our project successful.
Here we focused on how to create the most effective user journey. How do we visually create an easy-to-understand flow to get people to the information they need? How do we compel users to explore the tool without losing their attention? We had to do all this within the confines of the Randstad strict branding guidelines and web restrictions.
Inbound marketing is all about creating content in each phase of the funnel in the hopes that leads are qualified and will convert. Instead of having awareness content in one place and explore content living elsewhere, the Staffing Strategy interactive tool hosts content in every single phase of the funnel all in one place, letting users pick and choose what they need without getting distracted on irrelevant information.
